Wings of disparity

One might wonder why this artwork's title has "disparity" in it but that's what exactly it means. Disparity means a "big difference" and in the case of our heroine here, as the world crumbles, tumbles and crushes, a pair of wings may just be your salvation.

Even though the heroine desires death, the feel is loneliness and bitter defeat is feel quite heavily with the wings are shaped it indicates an unconscious primitive instinct for survival .

I love the symbolisms, the gestures, those little shades of shadows and highlights. The only thing I don't like is that it feels very flat. The graffiti-fire-thing is a bit flat and hogs the attention a bit too much.

The right star is a bit too distorted, so is the arm next to it. The body itself, is nicely shading but again it's a bit to distorted then again this piece feels very symbolic.

"Wings of Disparity", is a beautiful piece, though flat... desires attention, the symbolisms of survival and never ever truly giving up are beautiful.
